The deadline to submit proposals for organizing the 2024 Summer Courses is opened
The Summer Courses organization for next year begins, and the deadline for submitting proposals will be November 2nd to 30th. Anybody interested may submit a single proposal. As regards the format, as in recent years, the courses can be followed in person or online, or both simultaneously.
UIK, the Summer Course Foundation, continues to be firmly committed to knowledge and will shortly begin to organise its next edition. UIK is a meeting point to discuss topics that are of concern to society, a space for training, discussion and for all social stakeholders to come together; therefore, all individuals and entities who so wish are invited to take part in organising the courses.
The UIK welcomes any type of proposals or challenges that society is facing today, including sustainability, education, digitalisation, governance, health, and Basque culture. The intention is for highly topical issues to be addressed in the 2024 Summer Courses.
The UIK mission is to be a meeting point for all citizens, by fostering the participation of the different stakeholders and creating collaborative networks among people and entities related to research, academic, companies, and the administration. It is an open and inclusive forum in all its aspects and aims to bring together the different generations, with a special invitation to young people; it also encourages innovative participatory dynamics, with an emphasis on applied courses and workshops to enhance the experiences.
Proposals will be presented through the UIK online platform. Regulations, access to the platform and contact channels are available at this link.
